Like all our stoves, the Table Top Tawi makes useful charcoal and biochar. The three cooking surfaces can accommodate medium sized pots and pans, with a standard oven tray fitting under the grill space. . The front hotplate and grill operate at very high temperatures; around 400C.
The unique inclusion of a water tank in each Tawi design makes them the only biochar-making stoves that can operate continuously. When run correctly, the Table Top Tawi operates virtually smoke free. Tawi fuel is dry brash, hedge trimmings and other waste wood.
